Nom Nom Nom…

September 1, of this last year, Buster and I started a “diet”. Only, it really isn’t a diet. It is a lifestyle change. We decided to cut out all refined sugar, wheat of any kind, fatty meats and cheese, and basically anything processed. The more processed a food is, the easier it is to digest, which means less work for your body and the easier it is to absorb fat and calories you don’t need for your body to function, so it gets stored as fat.

Then Thanksgiving came and Christmas and we kind of got a little slack about what we were eating and we have yet to get back “on the wagon”…

One of the things we can enjoy while not on our “diet” is sausage muffins with egg and cheese. Man, are they good!! :mrgreen:

One of the hardest parts of making them is the eggs, though! I could never get the eggs nice and round like the restaurants do, and it made me kinda mad!! :mrgreen:

That’s when one of these comes in handy!!

Thanks to the people at CSNStores, I got a couple to try out, keep and review for them. They work really well!! The eggs stay inside the ring and cook fully through when you use med heat and allow them to cook long enough. Once almost done, you can actually remove the ring and flip the egg over if you want…

Back to healthy things, please ignore the part about apple crisp in the previous post, LOL

Some people want to make you think that a “magic pill” will solve all your problems and that you won’t have to work hard to get what you want. But, it has been my experience that hard work is THE ONLY WAY to get what you want.

That’s precisely why I would ignore things like apidextra reviews, and get off my lazy duff and exercise along with eating right to lose weight, but hey, do what ya want, what am I, your mother??? :mrgreen:

As you may or may not know, I am a bargain shopper!!  I love to get great quality products for a great (low) price.  That is just what I have found at CSNStores. Hubby and I are in the market for a flat panel tv stand, CSNStores (with their 200+ online stores) was the first place I looked.

They have great products at great prices.  I have reviewedseveral products from them so far, and I haven’t been disappointed yet.  I will soon be doing another review for CSNStores, so stay tuned to see what I found!!

I’ve been thinking….

…a dangerous thing for me, I realize, but nonetheless, I have been!!

I am thinking of taking my blog in  a new direction.  I would like to do more actual reviews and also I would like to get people involved more.

I want to maybe test some sugar-free recipes, review kitchen products or home made goodies, that kind of thing.

So, who wants to help me out and send me something to review??

Maybe you have an etsy shop and you would like more business, you could send me a sample product that I can use and review for you.  Maybe even set up a giveaway?

I am going to be testing some recipes out and posting the good ones on here, too.  Gluten free and sugar-free are the main ones I will be trying as I try to cook that way for my family… Do you have a recipe for me to try and then post about? Maybe it’s something you are afraid to try out yourself or it’s one you have had good luck with…

I am just in a rut, I think and I want to try something new…Join me in the adventure!!   =)

More Goodies…

I, like many wives/mothers love little gadgets and tools that make cooking and baking and all that goes along wtih that easier and more fun.

I have been doing reviews for CSNStores for several months now and they always have great stuff when it comes to choosing something to use and review.  This last month I chose to review two different things.

One of the items I chose was a Banana Tree with an attached bowl.  It looks so pretty sitting on my counter and it works great!!  The tree part of it is nice and tall for long bananas and the bowl is nice and big for lots of apples, oranges and pears (and whatever else you wanna put in there)… Isn’t it beautiful?

This Banana Tree gets ♥♥♥♥♥ (5  hearts)!!!

The other item is a set of Spoonula’s made by Rachel Ray.  They are apple green and I love them.  They certainly came in handy when I did all my baking for Christmas!! I love that color, don’t you?

These Spoonula’s get ♥♥♥♥ (4  hearts)!!!

I didn’t give them a full 5 hearts because they are a little thicker than I would like, but they are awesome and I will get lots of use out of them!!!

Reviews On My Blog…

Someone recently asked me if I was going to do any diet pill reviews here on my blog.  The short answer to that is NO!  I have no interest in doing reviews on diet pills.  For a variety of reasons, really.

#1  I do not wish to experiment with diet pills.

#2  I would not feel comfortable commenting on or promoting something I would not test myself.

#3  I would not want to be responsible for someone taking my word about something and then having problems with the product.

#4 This is my blog and I’ll do what I want!! (LOL)

how I can get more traffic on here and get links without spending anymore money.  I have submitted my URL to google, but I don’t know if that’s enough.  I follow blogs and comment on them and I try to visit more each day, and comment on those, too.  My blog on WordPress did have a PageRank of 3 and now it’s back to 0 so who knows what happened there????  I don’t know much about it, but surprised to see it drop like that and it was like in one day???  And blog-diggidy.blogspot  has always had a 0.   I know some people don’t like a personal blog mixed with reviews but any reviews I do will be well thought out and planned and you’ll never know it’s paid for!!  lol  That’s the idea anyway.  And I won’t be doing anything for casino’s or adult material or anything like that so….
