To the my best friend, my lover, my protector, my provider, my Buster!! You told me the first day you met me you loved me. I thought you were crazy!! I didn’t know you could love someone after only knowing them a day!! You saw something I didn’t and for that I will ever be thankful. You have been by my side through thick and thin. In good times and in BAD!!
You have been a good friend, a great lover, a wonderful father and a tremendous husband!! I could not ask for more in a husband than what you are. Though you are not perfect, you are perfect for me. I believe with all my heart that God made you for me and me for you!! I am so thankful that we have each other to go through this life with. You have been my strength when I had none. My sunshine when it was dark and cloudy. My joy when sorrow enveloped me. My constant companion. I am so thankful and proud to call you mine!!

For MamaKat’s writing assignment I chose #1….
This is just a candid picture of Buster (my husband) I took in the truck on our way somewhere?!? I am married to the most awesome guy on the planet. Though sometimes I want to throttle him, I don’t know what I would ever do without him. He has been through so much with me and he still loves me! Go figure.
I am married to the greatest, smartest, strongest, most caring, most generous man I have ever known. I am so blessed to be his wife!! We have been together for almost 20 years and married for 15. I can’t imagine my life without him.Through thick and thin , he has stuck by my side and I could never repay him for all he’s done for me. But he is not worried about any of that. He is just happy that I am his and he is mine. I don’t think I’ll ever understand why he is still here.

Update!!!
Saturday, December 20th, 2008Buster is doing much better today!! He has eaten three meals today and even some ice cream and hasn’t thrown up at all. He hasn’t even needed his medication for the nausea!! His incision is a little tender but he has had a shower and removed his original dressing and everything looks great!! I’m so thankful to all of you for your prayers and also to God for taking care of my baby!! Buster is so important to me and he takes such good care of me all the time. It was odd having to do the “taking care of”. But I love taking care of my man

For Better Or For Worse…
Thursday, October 30th, 2008These were taken October 30, 1993. The day I said “I do”. For better or for worse… Thankfully, it has only gotten better!! I am blessed to be married to the greatest man in the world!!! He is a hard worker. He loves the Lord and he is a wonderful father!!! I am more in love with him now than I have ever been. Next to my salvation, he is the best thing that has ever happened to me.

The first one is of me just before the wedding. The second is at the reception. I had to hold my dress up cause Buster kept stepping on it and breaking the beads!!

yard sale friday and saturday!
Friday, September 19th, 2008we are trying to go through all the stuff in our attic and basement to purge ourselves of everything we don’t need. after 15 years of marriage you accumulate quite a bit. i don’t know how much we will actually sell, but you know what they say…..one man’s junk is another man’s treasure…we’ll just see about that! i would like to get rid of some stuff just so i can reorganize what we are keeping. i don’t know why, but lately i have been in frantic mode to keep the house tidy and organized. i think its a OCD thing, but who knows. i will be glad when it’s not in my living room anymore! what doesn’t sell, i think is going to goodwill! it’s all good stuff, in fact i was gonna put in on ebay, but C wants to have a yard sale cause there is no listing fee and selling fee and all that. he’s so smart!! so anyway, i’m off to bed so i can get up early and have my yard sale. wish me luck!!
trip to kentucky
Friday, August 15th, 2008well, the big C , little H and I are going to Kentucky for the weekend. C’s cousin is getting married. we have not taken a “trip” in a couple years, so this should be fun. plus i am hoping that travelling and being busy on E’s birthday will take some of the sting out of him being gone. He would have been 14 tomorrow, as i think everyone already knows, if not…please read previous posts!! so we ran to wally world and got a few things, packed up the necessities and we are off at 6 AM (at least that is the plan, lol). ya never know what’s actually gonna happen around here until the time comes!! so anyway, wanted to send out hugs and blessings for the weekend, as i may or may not not be blogging. i DO have access to the internet while i’m gone, but not sure if i will have the time or the interest in blogging (although i DO love blogging, so i don’t know???) while i’m “havin fun” in Kentucky. we will see. if you don’t hear from me before Monday or Tuesday, be blessed and enjoy your weekend, i’m sure i will!! i will update everyone on my weekend on Mondy or Tuesday!!
