Which One Are/Were You??

Another Poll…

Not that anyone participated in the last one, lol.

By a show of hands (haha), how many of you actually bought and wore maternity clothes during your pregnancy/pregnancies?

I know woman who were small enough to just go up a size and wear “normal” clothing right up til they delivered.  I also know women who simply wore their husbands/boyfriends clothes for a few months just before having their kids.

I bought a few maternity clothes, mostly second hand (Goodwill).  Between the few I bought and my husbands sweats and shirts I could fit in, I was good to go.

Which one are/were you??

UPDATE

Doc says “No significant abnormalities” on the MRI. Whatever that means.  So, I guess more tests to figure out what is going on? I have an EEG in April, but not sure what else will have to happen.

Still no passing out  and it’s a little after 3PM, so far so good….

Coyotes

Buster has been trying to hunt coyotes lately.  I guess the nighttime hunt season just ended a week ago or so, so he won’t be out at night trying to get one anymore.  And he won’t need to get special low light steiner binoculars, (made to see better at night) now either.

But I guess he can hunt them during the day for another month or so.  He has seen a really pretty one here at camp that he’d like to have mounted.  Although, I’m not sure where he would put it…maybe we’ll have to get rid of the girl and put him in her room.  I kid, I jest.   :)

Cleaning…

We all enjoy a clean house, do we not?? I think most of us enjoy a bright fresh kitchen, a sparkling bathroom, and a dust free armoire…

Most of us, I dare say, don’t think about our carpets.  Not beyond vacuuming them, anyway…at least I don’t.  Unless something gets spilled or ground into it…

The peeps over in NC can look into carpet cleaning raleigh for all their carpet cleaning needs.  For all you fabulous people living elsewhere, look up carpet cleaning in your phonebook, you should find some options there…

Your welcome!! ;)

HHHHMMMM???

I often find myself being critical of others for wanting to change what God has made.  I’m talking about people here.  Each and every one of us is made by God (through people, of course).

Some people aren’t happy with what God made.  They want a bigger bust, a smaller nose, a different chin, etc.  I am always quick to think that they are wrong for wanting to “improve” upon what God has made.

And yet, I have my ears pierced, I have colored my hair, I have permed my hair, I wear make-up…

Where do we draw the line?  What is acceptable??

I was looking at a site on enzyte reviews, and it just made me think about how far people will go to make themselves what they think they should be. Shouldn’t we be content with what God has given us/made us?

What’s your opinion on this?  Should we color our hair?  Perm our hair?  Pierce our bodies?  Have cosmetic surgery? How far is too far and who makes that choice??

Ripped or Buff??

OK, by a show of hands (haha) how many of you ladies out there are into MUSCLES??  I mean, do you like ripped men or just buff men??

What’s the difference?  Is there a difference??

Would you want your man to go to any extreme to have those big buff muscles?? Do you think it’s ok to take steroids?  Is it ok to take creatine supplements?  Is there a difference??

I personally like a man with some muscle, but I am not into the big, body-builder type at all.  I want my man to be strong and tough and capable, but I don’t want him bulging!!!  That’s why I love my hubby…big, strong, handsome, capable.   ;)

Jewels and Gems

I am having issues…

HA!

I have been looking for that “perfect” necklace to go with this one outfit I have, and haven’t been able to find it yet.  I have looked at both the major “super” market chains that are close. I have looked at Penney’s.  I have looked at Fashion Bug….NO ONE has it!!

I have HAD IT! I am going to make it myself. Yes, I said MYSELF.  I am going to go buy some jewelry making tools and make the perfect piece myself!!

Wish me luck!! =)

I Have Seen The Light!

The kitchen lighting in my house here at camp left a little something to be desired. First off, there really needs to be more lights just in general. It’s a pretty good sized area and could actually use another fixture or two.

Secondly, the light that was in there wasn’t directional at all.  So, Buster got some cute little track lights that aredirectional, meaning you can aim them at different areas of your work space, which is very useful.

Now I just need one that shines directly over the sink area.  I am one who likes good lighting in specific areas of the home. Mood lighting is good, but not in an area where you need to do so many different things.

Beggers Can’t Be Choosers…

With the job market the way it is right now, if you are looking for work, I would suggest you take what you can get!!

I hear people complain all the time about their jobs and I just think to myself , “Be thankful you have a job!!”  There are so many people out there looking for work that they would take your lousy no-good job in a heartbeat!!

So, think about all those who don’t have jobs and take those offered jobs retail, or otherwise!!

The Age of Technology…

More and more utility companies, credit cards…well, let’s face it, EVERYONE is going paperless.  You can pay bills online, get paid online, shop online…

With all this computer usage it’s nice to know you can find some help with your paperless “paperwork” with a document management system .  It’s kind of like having a virtual file cabinet.

It makes life a lot easier and also helps businesses and offices be more compliant with HIPAA laws and all that racket.

You’re welcome!  =)

Refurbished Is Good!! =)

Recently I was searching for a laptop or a netbook I can take on the road so I can keep up with my blogging even when I’m not at home.  I looked on craigslist and ebay, I even looked at refurbished netbooks

Though “refurbished” sounds like “second-hand” or “used”, it’s usually really good to buy, because in order to be labeled as “refurbished”, they have to test it like crazy to make sure it’s in tip-top shape to be able to resell it. That way all the “kinks” are worked out before you buy!!

Then, it turned out I didn’t have to buy one, my dad gave me one!! Thanks again Dad!! You’re the best!!

Coming Soon…

As you may or may not know, I am a bargain shopper!!  I love to get great quality products for a great (low) price.  That is just what I have found at CSNStores. Hubby and I are in the market for a flat panel tv stand, CSNStores (with their 200+ online stores) was the first place I looked.

They have great products at great prices.  I have reviewedseveral products from them so far, and I haven’t been disappointed yet.  I will soon be doing another review for CSNStores, so stay tuned to see what I found!!
