As many of you know, I started this blog as a way to update family and friends on my day-to-day life and to have sort of a journal.  Along the way I have become interested in and actually have done some paid posting.  What I would really like to do is reviews and giveaways on a regular basis.  I have signed up here and there to get involved in some reviews, but never really gotten the results I wanted.  So you can imaging how excited I was when out of the blue,  I received and E-mail from CSN stores wanting me to do a review and/or giveaway on my blog.   They sell everything from bar stools to diaper bags, AND they carry some of the best known name brands out today… Cuisinart, Lego, Kohler, and Pyrex just to name a few!

Now, on to the business at hand…MY VERY FIRST GIVEAWAY!!!!  I had a hard time choosing with all the great things they have to offer, but I when I found this item and I knew this was the one.  I make a cookie that has all kinds of stuff in it , including ROLO’s  candies, and they are so hard to get off the cookie sheet, it makes me crazy.  I am hoping that this Paula Deen cookie sheet with the silicone insert will make my cookies easier to get off the pan!!

Every year pumpkin_seed has to do a Science Fair project and we go out and buy a cardboard display of some sort.  One year she and her dad made one with a little “house” with furniture and lights and the whole nine yards and the science part was how the light switch worked.  It was very cool.  She loves spending time with her dad working on ANYTHING!!!  I hope her new school does the same thing!!

OK, so how many of you adults dress up for Halloween?? I’m curious to know….  I came across a site that has some really neat adult halloween costumes, along with some nice lingerie!!  My favorite is the Geisha Girl Costume!!!  The Flirty First Mate is kinda cute, too!! OR you could go in a totally different direction and be a Genie or you could really have some fun and play Cowgirls and Indians!  The possibilities are endless!! Have fun!!

Not much time to post today, I gotta get the house ready for a paaarrttttaaaayyyy!!   Buster is turning 38 today!!  Man, we are getting old!!    I woke up this morning with this song in my head….

This is just a picture I found online a while ago, but it is so darn cute!! I love it!! Makes me wanna go get me a panda bear baby to luv on!!!!  Have a great Wednesday everyone!! I am sick so I won’t be around much, but leave me tons of comments to make me feel better!!  LOL  Be blessed!!

This week I made Bubble Pizza.  It was very yummy!! I will definitely be making this again!!  The recipe is as follows:

What you will need:

2 cups pizza cheese (or any cheese you have on hand)

about 1 lb. browned sausage (can use pepperoni, hamburger, ham, or bacon instead or in any combination you like)

1 med. jar pizza sauce

2 tubes of buttermilk biscuits

any other items you would normally put on top of a pizza (i.e. black olives, green olives, cooked onion, etc)

What to do:

#1  brown and drain meat

#2 cut tubed biscuits into quarters

#3 put biscuits into a bowl along with pizza sauce

#4 add meat and any other ingredients you are using

#6 mix well

#7 pour into  ungreased 9×13 baking dish

#8 bake at 350° for 2-25 minutes

#9 take out of oven, sprinkle with cheese, bake another 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly!!

#10 ENJOY!!!

I am so freakin’ lazy that I am  using this picture for both  meme’s.  The reason I amusing it it because I HATE pictures of myself.  I take them though because I like for people reading or looking at my sites to see who they are reading about and who the site belongs to.

Well, I usually have to take like thirty pictures before I find one I like.  Well, the other day I was thinking to myself, why not just take one right now, don’t fix your hair, don’t reapply make-up, just take it.  This is the first shot, and I am fairly happy with it.  Granted, I wouldn’t win a beauty pageant with it, but it’s decent!  For that I am thankful!! I love this picture.  Buster is down on the floor playing with the dogs.  Buddy is the Black Lab and Jasmine (Jazzy) is the Boxer!!!  It’s funny, Buddy is so dark, you can’t see much but eyes!!   Those dogs are like family to us.   I love them!!
