Posted on October 06, 2011There is an hour of night time television that I detest. A whole hour where I want to gouge my eyes out with a spoon and dig my ear drums out with a melon ball-er. Yup, it’s that bad my friends.
It’s that hour where all they have on is celebrity news. Because I really care about who is breaking up with who, and when and where and why. Um, no not really. And while we are on that subject. I really don’t care who is sleeping with who’s nanny. I really don’t!
I would like to just get through a day without hearing about which celebrity is cheating with which and which millionaire’s widow is being brought up on charges of whatever. I’m just sick of the whole thing.
Anyway….Carry on…

nothing like a good book…
Posted on July 23, 2009When I need to relax and unwind, there is nothing better than sitting down with a good book. I like a good romantic storyline now and then, but I think mostly, I like a good murder mystery or suspense type of storyline better. What’s your favorite kind of book??
I don’t have a lot of time to sit down and read but I do like to do it when I can. And these days books are easy to come by, too. You can find great books online at Amazon books. They have a wide variety of books at good prices!!
