DO YOU KNOW FOR SURE HEAVEN WILL BE YOUR HOME??

We “preach” at our kids all day long about making the right choices and decisions for themselves, but are we sure we have told them about the most important decision they could ever make? Have we told them they can know for sure that they can go to heaven someday when they die? Some of you may not know that yourselves, I realize that. BUT YOU CAN KNOW…there are just a few things you need to do in order to know that!! The actual work has already been done, but you must accept what has been done!! Let me show you…

First, you must realize that God loves you. ~ John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosever believeth in Him should not perish , but have everlasting life.“ Whosoever means anyone and everyone who believes!!

Secondly, you must realize that everyone is a sinner. ~ Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” All means every single person!!

Thirdly, you must realize that sin has a price that must be paid. ~ Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.” When you have a job, you earn a wage (money)…when you sin you earn a wage (death or separation from God in hell) .

Fourthly, you must realize that Jesus Christ died and rose from the dead to pay your sin debt for you. ~ Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Finally, you must pray, ask Jesus Christ to be your Saviour, and claim His promise of eternal life. ~ Romans 10:9, 13 “Thas if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him form the dead, thou shalt be saved…For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

If you or anyone you know isn’t sure they would go to heaven when they die, please read/share this important information with them. I know it can be a daunting task, but isn’t it worth it to be secure in where you/they will spend eternity? Because, hey , we WILL ALL have to spend eternity SOMEWHERE!! I prefer HEAVEN!!

Every Sunday at Bible Baptist Church (Big Rapids, MI~~a shameless plug, I know) we have Sunday School at 10:00 AM. Then we have our AM service at 11:00 AM. At noon we all have lunch together there at the Church, fellowship, clean up and then have the PM service at 2:00 PM. It’s fabulous!!

Since the Church has a refrigerator, microwave, sink and dishwasher, but no stove/oven, we all have to bring our hot dishes in in crock pots. It’s not a big deal, really. Actually it’s convenient to keep your stuff hot in a crock pot. My problem was bringing soup or stew or anything else that could slop around and get all over everything!

A friend of mine brought one of these to Church…

Ain’t it perty? I think so!!

So, when CSN Stores contacted me to do a review for them again, I went to one of their over 200+ stores looking for this fantastic gem. And sure enough, they had one and it was the right price. So I ordered it, got it and used it!!

This crock pot is awesome!! It has these clamps on both sides and little hooks that they latch onto. You simply put the latch over the hook, pull down on the clamp and it clamps the lid down. The lid has a black rubber (I assume it’s rubber) gasket that goes all the way around it, so when clamped down it makes an air/water/soup tight seal!! =)

This last Sunday I man split pea and sausage SOUP!! Yes, I said SOUP!! I really wanted to see if this baby would live up to my expectations. Guess what??

NO LEAKS!!! We live on a dirt road that isn’t smooth at all and there are so many bumps, I thought for sure it would leak some. It.Didn’t.Leak.At.ALL. It was amazing. The High sitting got the soup nice and hot like it was supposed to and it turned out great….don’t think I’ll make that soup again (it wasn’t my favorite) but I’ll definitely use the crock pot again!!!

I give this Crock Pot ♥♥♥♥ (4 hearts)!!!

(since I don’t have stars on my character thingy, I will use hearts for rating on my reviews…1 heart being very poor, 2 hearts being poor, 3 hearts being average, 4 hearts being good and 5 hearts being very good).

The only thing that I would change on this is I would give it Cool Touch sides, this baby gets HOT!!!!

Thanks to CSNStores for, once again, hooking me up with a great product!!! =)

When Buster and I moved into the house here at camp, we got hardly any TV channels. So we went looking for antenna reviews to see which would be the best one for our needs. We have a HD TV so we didn’t need a converter, but we still needed a “boost” to get many channels.

We still don’t get a lot with the digital antenna we have, but it’s better than if we didn’t have one at all. It seems like ever since they changed from analog, the channel selection is actually less than before! I think we have more problems with pixelation and stuff like that than we ever have…

Does anyone know if indoor antenna’s do any good?? I often wonder how they could because they are so small and they don’t look like they are made of much. But then again, I don’t know anything about how they actually work, so….

I also don’t understand why you have to have 75,000 cables hooked from the antenna to the TV, and the TV to the DVD player and the DVD player to the receiver and the….OMG ( oh my goodness)!! It’s all just too much, but I digress….

Carry On =)

GGRRR…

You can’t dry your hands off as fast if you move your hands too fast, you have to let the air blow on them for a little bit, move them, blow a little more, move them….you get the idea…so it’s really annoying when all the sudden the thing just turns off!!!

So, for about a week now I have been sick…no, not really sick, just OFF. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out why… This weird pressure in my head, then headaches, night sweats, sweating out of the blue during the day, nausea, fatigue, sleeplessness, the list goes on and on. And that’s not all…

Then last night I really didn’t feel good and I thought I had a fever, so I took my temperature. The thermometer said 103 degrees. I thought that wasn’t right so I took it again, right away. Then it said I had a temperature of 99.1. I thought that was strange. Buster told me to take some Tylenol and lay down, so I did. I thought I was coming down with something.

About an hour later, exhausted, I went to bed only to not be able to get comfortable and not sleep. Then when I finally did fall asleep for a couple hours, I woke up around 4 drenched with sweat and freezing!! Then I tried and failed to get comfortable some more til I finally fell back to sleep, covering myself up with the sheet and taking it off again as I went from freezing to overheating several times…Then this morning I was laying in bed feeling not very rested and it came to me….MENOPAUSE!!!!! What was happening last night were extreme HOT FLASHES!!!! I have had them before, but never like this!!

I had a radical (they took EVERYTHING) hysterectomy three years ago and I think it’s finally catching up to me. See your body converts fat cells into estrogen so us “big girls” tend to store up estrogen longer than those who are not as “fluffy”. So all the symptoms I have been having…night sweats, extreme hot flashes, pressure in my head, fatigue, sleeplessness (ironic, huh??), headaches, body aches, dizziness, nausea, the whole works is stinking menopause. I should have known. I figured if I hadn’t had much problems by now, I wouldn’t. HA!!!

My next problem is, I don’t want to take anything that isn’t natural, but that’s all my insurance will pay for, is something I can get from my doctor….I have progesterone cream, but it won’t take care of everything, so I’m not sure what to do. Any suggestions??

AND, I just read that this can go on from 1-10 years!!!! UGH!! Pray for me please!!!

Carry On =)

I went to school to be a Medical Assistant like 15 years ago. Just before graduating, I found out I was preggers with my daughter. After having her, I got really sick and never even registered and therefore never went into the field. I really liked the studies and graduated with honors, but have forgotten much of what I learned. Also, medical procedures and such change so much over time that I really don’t know much about it anymore…

Does anyone out there know what exactly a spirometer is?? I didn’t either until today…

A spirometer is a tool that doctor’s use to measure how much air is actually inhaled and exhaled through the lungs. They are really helpful when treating patients with COPD and/or asthma and other lung conditions.

Medical procedures and instruments and such still interest me and I love to learn new things about the medical field!!!

The cabin they built them this last year is quite a bit smaller than the house they own downstate. As a compromise for moving her into a smaller house, he has promised to take her to Florida for a few weeks during our cold winters.

I guess they rent/lease a condo that is near Disney World. They have invited us to come and stay with them some time and take the girl to Disney. Since we wouldn’t have to pay for a hotel/motel, we can save a little money. There are so many different Disney vacation packages, though, that is is really hard to pick one!! I have never been to a Disney park, so I am really excited that we might be able to go!!

I love how you struggle through something and then you find a solution. Back when I had my hysterectomy, Buster’s job didn’t offer health insurance and I didn’t qualify for Medicaid. So, we paid a large sum of money (over $10,000) for my surgery, and it would have been more if the Dr. and Hospital hadn’t deducted some form the amount do to some complications during the surgery.

Anyway, now I hear about this HSA (health savings account). The idea is, you purchase a high-deductible insurance plan (HDHP) that gives you a low-cost premium. Then you put some or even all the money you save on premiums into a tax-free health savings account in your own name. The money you put in is yours, not an insurance company’s. This is also good for you come tax time because, an HSA’s above-the-line deductibility REDUCES your adjusted gross income, effectively reducing your tax burden each year.

When a health problem comes along, you simply use your HSA to pay any qualified expenses that your high-deductible insurance doesn’t cover. The money is withdrawn tax-free and making payment couldn’t be easier, you just hand the provider your HSA debit card.

Most covered expenses include dental bills, over-the-counter medicines, prescription drugs, eye care, hearing aids, and many other health-related items and services that the HDHP doesn’t pay. And, if you don’t use all the money you put in, you can either use it later on in life for long-term care or medicare deductibles or you can withdraw it from the account (there is a penalty if you are under 65, though).

Carry On =)
