It’s all about “The Plan Of Salvation”. What? You don’t know that is? Well, I will tell you!
We all are born and we all die right? Easy question….
Most of us wonder what is going to happen to us when we die, right? Another easy question…
Well, the answer to that question is this, we either go to heaven or hell…those are the options, according to the bible.
Heaven = pleasant, happy, fun, blessings, family, food, sunshine, Jesus, God
Hell= unpleasant, sad, no blessings, loneliness, deprivation, satan, evil
Both are for ETERNITY one you are there folks, there are no second chances, once you die, the choice has been made, there is no going back…
This is the thing. You must know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior in order to go to heaven! Plain and simple.
You have to realize you are a sinner (we all are Romans 3:10)…
You have to realize that there is a penalty for that sin (sin always has consequences Romans 6:23)…
You have to accept that Jesus paid that penalty for you (when He died on the cross Romans 5:8-9)…
You have to realize that He is your only way to heaven (you can’t do anything to get yourself there Romans 10:13, Romans 10:9-11 )…
It’s as simple as that.
Most people say a simple prayer, something like: “Dear Jesus, I know I am a sinner. Please forgive of my sins and save me from hell. Take me to heaven some day when I die. Thank You Jesus for what you have done for me. Amen.” Or something along those lines.
The important thing isn’t “what” you say, it’s that you mean it and believe it in your heart, because “saying” a prayer isn’t going to get you to heaven!! You must believe!!!
That, my friends is “The Plan Of Salvation”
Has there been a time in your life that you accepted Christ as your personal Savior? I would urge you not to wait! We aren’t guaranteed another day friends.

Posted on October 01, 2011If you only read one post I ever post, please let it be this one. I beg of you. This might just be the single most important post I will ever post. Okay, maybe the second most important. Because the posts I post about salvation are probably the most important…
But this one is very important!
I want you to realize that we are in a fight! A fight against the devil and evil! Yes, the devil! He is waging a war against us and if we are not careful and vigilant, he is going to win!
You think I’ve lost my mind don’t you? Look around you, friends…
Look at all the pastor’s wives fighting cancer or some other life-threatening or life-altering illness right now, do you think that is a coincidence?
Look at all the “men of God” being accused of “sexual deviance”, do you think that is coincidence?
Look at all the marriages in ruins, do you think that is coincidence?
We are in the fight of our lives, people, do we not realize this? The devil is after us and our families and I don’t think we even realize it!
Hold your dear ones close friends. Yes, even when they hurt you. Even when you think they have done the unforgivable. Jesus forgave you!
Husbands, pray for your wives.
Wives, pray for your husbands.
Church members, pray for your pastors.
Pastors, pray for your church members.
Parents, pray for your children.
Children, pray for your parents.
EVERYONE, pray for EVERYONE!!!
She’s not my “little” girl anymore….
Posted on June 15, 2011Well, we recently went through a rough spot, you might call it, with our daughter, but she seems to be coming around now. She’s 14…need I say more?? Probably not…
She has always been a good child and always wanted to please her dad and I, but lately, she has wanted to do her own thing and didn’t really care what we had to say about it. It was really kind of exasperating. She felt like we were being unfair and refused to see our point of view about a situation.
My husband prayed with her and had her do some praying and extra bible reading and I really think she is coming around now. I am thankful that she does have a tender heart and that she has a heart for God and want to do right.
Although My husband and I are far from perfect parents, we have raised our daughter right and she knows what she is supposed to be doing and not supposed to be doing and I just have to trust that if we lovingly but firmly guide her back when she begins to stray that God will keep her where she needs to be. So far so good, I will continue to pray for her and guide her the best I can and leave the rest up to God…
Looking For Answers….
Posted on March 10, 2011I haven’t been around lately to visit the blogs I normally read and comment on. With good reason, too. I have had some fairly serious health issues as of late.
It all started last Thursday when I fell and hit my head while getting out of a nice hot bath. I hit my head and lost consciousness. I thought everything would be fine til I started throwing up. That was my first trip to the ER. They did a CT scan that day and it came back negative for bleeding or swelling in the brain.
Friday I was sore and had some dizziness, but no loss of consciousness.
Saturday, I had another fall after passing out. Back to the ER!! Another CT scan, too. This one showed something abnormal, but still no active bleed or swelling. The ER Dr. suggested I see my family Dr. and schedule an EEG.
Sunday was uneventful as far as passing out, but I was not feeling well at all and everyone kept telling me I didn’t look or act like myself…
Monday I went to the Dr. in the afternoon, after passing out once in the morning. The Dr. reviewed the CT scan results and said the abnormality looked like I had either suffered a mild stroke at some point or there had been some kind of seizure activity. He wasn’t sure what to make of it and ordered an MRI. He did some neuro tests and everything seemed fine. I passed out two more times that afternoon/night.
Tuesday we waited for a call from the Dr.’s office about where and when the MRI would be. I passed out a total of 4 times that day. The Dr.’s office called around 5pm to tell us my MRI was to be at 7:45 in Grand Rapids. So a little after 6, we headed out for Grand Rapids. When we got there I was fine, but I am EXTEREMELY claustrophobic and eventually fell apart. I cried and couldn’t breathe and almost couldn’t get it done. But I pulled myself together (with a little prayer and a lot of deep breathing) and got the MRI. It took about 30 minutes. I got to keep the little mask they gave me (I was afraid of opening my eyes while in the scanner, so they gave me a sleeping mask so if I did, I wouldn’t freak out). It’s kinda silly but I was really proud of myself for getting through the test!!!! 
Wednesday I passed out 3 times. I got really emotional yesterday, too and cried a couple of times. When I am sick or not feeling well, it really wears on me. Plus, I don’t like having to be “taken care of”.
Today is Thursday…I guess I had one episode of passing out very early this morning, which I do not remember at all(1 AM), but I have not passed out at all since I have been up . I have been awake since 7 and haven’t had any problems. My head feels very heavy and I have a dull headache, but none of the intense pain or tingling that usually precedes a black-out.
So, we will wait for the MRI results and we know that whatever the results tell us, God is in control and has a purpose for whatever has happened and will happen!! I also have an appointment for an EEG scheduled for April 11th. So, we will see what comes of all this.
Thank You for all those who have sent their happy thoughts and prayers my way, they are appreciated and coveted. And a big thank you to my husband who has been right by my side since all this happened and takes such good care of me…last night I cried and told him I was sorry he had to be here to take care of me instead of being out and about doing what he wanted to be doing (working at camp). He chuckled and said I am doing what I want to do, I’m taking care of you…he melts my heart….<3

Did you know you COULD know for sure…many don’t!! There are just a few things you need to do in order to know that!! The actual work has already been done, but you must accept what has been done!! Let me show you…
- First, you must realize that God loves you. ~ John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosever believeth in Him should not perish , but have everlasting life.” Whosoever means anyone and everyone who believes!!
- Secondly, you must realize that everyone is a sinner. ~ Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” All means every single person!!
- Thirdly, you must realize that sin has a price that must be paid. ~ Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.” When you have a job, you earn a wage (money)…when you sin you earn a wage (death or separation from God in hell) .
- Fourthly, you must realize that Jesus Christ died and rose from the dead to pay your sin debt for you. ~ Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
- Finally, you must pray, ask Jesus Christ to be your Saviour, and claim His promise of eternal life. ~ Romans 10:9, 13 “Thas if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him form the dead, thou shalt be saved…For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
If you have already accepted Christ as your Saviour, Congratulations!! IF you are saved and on your way to heaven and you haven’t yet gotten into good, Bible believing, Bible preaching Church, I would do so as soon as you can and find out how you can serve those in your community.
If you have just asked Jesus Christ as you Saviour as a result of reading this , please leave me a comment so I can pray for you. You should get into a good, Bible believing, Bible preaching Church just as soon as you can and find out how you can serve those in your community. I would also suggest you talk to someone about scriptural Baptism. If you have questions about that, I can help you, just let me know!!
If you know anyone who isn’t sure they would go to heaven when they die, please share this important information with them. I know it can be a daunting task, but isn’t it worth it to be secure in where you/they will spend eternity? Because, hey , we WILL ALL have to spend eternity SOMEWHERE!! I prefer HEAVEN!!
“Witness Wednesday”
Posted on April 21, 2010I have been “witnessing” the same way every time since I started on my blog. Today I thought I would do something a little different. When I was 11 years old, we had an evangelist come to our Church and show us movies about the end times. You know, after Jesus comes back (which HE WILL) what happens to all those left behind. As soon as I saw it, I knew I needed to have Jesus Christ as my Savior!! I wanted nothing to do with what happens after He comes back!!
How you come to Christ isn’t really as important as making sure YOU DO!!! Here are the things you need to realize in order to do just that…I could quote a bunch of scriptures from the Bible to cement the points I am making, but I’m not going to. I’m going to be short and to the point.
1. We are all sinners. Every one of us!!
2. We all deserve hell. Every one of us!!
3. God, the One who made us , loved us so much that He sent His Son to pay that hell debt for us when He died on the cross some 2,000 + years ago, because He was the only one who could!!
4. We have to accept that He is the one and only way to get to heaven. We have to believe in our hearts that only taking Jesus as our Savior can get us to heaven.
Folks, it’s just that easy!! A God who loves us as much as ours wouldn’t make something so important difficult for us to do!!! Church can’t get ya there, baptism can’t get ya there, your good works can’t get ya there, ONLY JESUS can get you to heaven!! IF you believe everything I just told you, please take a moment to repeat this sinners prayer, asking Jesus to take you to heaven some day when you die.
Dear Jesus,
I am a sinner deserving hell. I know you died on the cross, paying my hell debt for me. Please take me to heaven some day when I die. I believe you are my one and only way to get there. Thank you saving me from hell…. Amen
Now, let me clarify, saying this prayer does not get you to heaven, believing it in your heart is what gets you to heaven!! If you have already accepted Christ as your Savior, congratulations!! If you have not or know someone who has not, please take a moment to read this or read it to that someone.

Posted on September 25, 2009 This is our family picture we used for our Prayer Card. We have a Prayer Card because we have recently gone into full-time Christian service. We are serving as missionaries at a Bible camp for youth. A lot of great things lie ahead of us here at the camp and your prayers would be greatly appreciated.

So, I normally do a post every week about how you can know for sure that you are going to heaven when you die. This week I thought I would add a picture and join Angie for a blog carnival. This is our family picture we used for our Prayer Card. We have a Prayer Card because we have recently gone into full-time Christian service. We are serving as missionaries at a Bible camp for youth. A lot of great things lie ahead of us here at the camp and your prayers would be greatly appreciated. My son was killed in an auto-accident at 10 (He asked the Lord to be his Savior when he was 7)!! We have no guarantee of how long we have on this earth, we need to spread the word!!
