This is the new “master bedroom”….it looks small in this picture, but it is actually a decent size. Not much smaller than my old bedroom!! Plus it has the snazzy bathroom right off of it, so hey, man, it’s all good!!!

The “new” house has two, count them, two bathrooms!! Neither of them is huge, but they are plenty big enough for me!! The top pic is the main bathroom, the bottom one is MINE all MINE!! 
The master bathroom has a shower stall only, no tub, as you can see. But that is OK with me!! At least I have my own bathroom now!! Love that! It is right off the master bedroom which I will be showing you next week!!

Posted on March 02, 2009We will soon be moving into a new place. I LOVE my house. It is quaint and cute. The new house is quite plain and ordinary. I feel the need to make it cute and quaint!! Just a few inexpensive things can make a home cute and quaint, for instance…unique bathroom lighting. Although there are two bathrooms in the new place, they are quite small. You can use good lighting and mirrors to make a room appear larger than it is. I am so excited to get to work making the new house our “home”!!
moving, but when??
Posted on February 26, 2009Well, I guess it’s pretty much official that we are moving out to camp and going into full-time Christian service. We just aren’t sure exactly when. Not sure if it’s necessary to sell the house first or not, but when we move we will need to look at smaller tv stands, among other smaller things, lol. The house we are moving into is at least half the size of ours now , if not smaller!! We are gonna need to do some major weeding out of unnecessary items!!
We are very excited, please keep us in our prayers!!
luggage…with a twist!
Posted on February 23, 2009OK, how many of you out there knew Swiss Army made luggage?? I knew they made like the coolest knives ( sorry, multi tools) around, but I had no idea you could get Swiss Army luggage. I mean how cool is that??
I wonder if it has a corkscrew hidden in it somewhere, or a jackknife in the zipper?? Hey, you never know what kind of cool stuff they’re gonna put in there, ya know?? Something like this could come in handy!!!

I came across this “carnival” when I was visiting links on other blogs.
I have been wanting to get some things done around the house and what better motivation that being able to share my projects with all of you!!!
This week I am featuring one of my kitchen cupboards. Pumpkin_seed used to take care of the dishes and it was always a crap-shoot as to whether or not you could actually open the door when she was done, usually out of fear that everything was going to come crashing out upon you. So, now that we switched her chores, I take care of them. I think I like this better!!

I came across this “carnival” when I was visiting links on other blogs.
I have been wanting to get some things done around the house and what better motivation that being able to share my projects with all of you!!!
This week I am featuring one of my kitchen cupboards. Pumpkin_seed used to take care of the dishes and it was always a crap-shoot as to whether or not you could actually open the door when she was done, usually out of fear that everything was going to come crashing out upon you. So, now that we switched her chores, I take care of them. I think I like this better!!

Tackle It Tuesday is supposed to be about housekeeping, cleaning, organizing and the sort. Talk About Tuesday can be about a variety of things, so here you have it…a post “talking about” cleaning and organizing!! Thank You, Thank you, I’ll be here all week!! **the info below is actually a re-post**
i LOVE a clean house! i don’t always love to clean…but i LOVE a clean house!! thurs. my daughter went to a friends house to spend the night. chuck (aka buster, my husband) and i went out for dinner and saw a movie, but before we went i took a few minutes to “unclutter”. you know, clear the dining room table of every thing that gets dropped there all week, take care of folded laundry, wipe down the counters and arrange the stuff on the counter…. so then yesterday all i had to do was clean the bathroom , do a quick dusting job and run the vacuum. aaaaahhhhhhhhh clean house. THEN this morning i got up…made breakfast for the fam and myself (love to that on the weekends!!). then hannah and i decided to clean out the fridge. what a mess that was. jelly all over the walls and shelves…blood form meat thawing , little bits of this and that stuck to the jelly and blood, and who knows what the clear gel stuff was?????????????? so we took all the shelves and drawers out, put them in the bath tub and washed them all off. put them back in and reloaded them. aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh clean fridge. lol i love a clean house! and a clean fridge! not a bad way to do it either, a little at a time. i find that if i do it that way…i don’t get overwhelmed with a long tiring day of work!! give it a try!! schedule one room per day or just do one “chore ” at a time. like totally clean the living room one day ( dust, vacuum, clean off tv and other entertainment stuff, wash windows, fluff pillows, clean blinds, etc.) then the bedroom the next day…one room per day. OR go through and dust every room one day . the next day vacuum all the rooms. so forth and so on. which ever you choose, it will be better than tackling all of it in one day! hope this helps others as much as it has helped me!

Once again, I was embarrassed to post a picture of my mess, it’s that bad! This is my hope chest, it used to sit in the living room, it is now in my “new” bedroom. It was a wreck!!! Like the telephone stand, it tends to be a “catch-all” place when we need to put something down, but don’t really know where to put it or don’t have time to take care of it, we lay it here and then it gets piled up…
Now that it’s in my room, hopefully it will always look like this!!!

Just like last time, I was a little embarrassed to even post this picture, it’s really bad! This is the telephone stand that is in between my kitchen and living room. It was a wreck!!! It tends to be a “catch-all” place when we need to put somethig down, but don’t really know where to put it or don’t have time to take care of it, we lay it here and then it gets piled up…
So, every couple weeks or so I unpile it and it looks great agan!! Let’s see if we can keep it this way for a while
