I searched “green smoothie” the other day on the internet and I came upon this recipe. It is actually really good, although it is quite “pulpy”. It also isn’t slushy at all…if you like it that way , I would freeze your grapes and or banana or add ice. It has great flavor and I didn’t have to add any extra sweetener to it at all…
Without further ado, I present to you…
Green Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 2 cups fresh baby spinach
- 1 cup green grapes (can be frozen)
- 1 medium banana, broken up
- 1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
- 1/4 cup apple juice
What To Do:
- I put the pepper and juice in first and blended well.
- Then I added everything else and blended til smooth…I also added a few ice cubes as I like my smoothies slushy…
