Saw the Dr. yesterday…
Found out that the “insignificant abnormality” on my MRI was an arachnoid cyst. These are known to cause seizures, which is what they think I have been having.
So, how is it “insignificant” if it is more than likely the cause of the seizures/passing out, whatever is happening????
Anyway, they have started me on Tegretol (an anti-convulsant, used to treat seizures and migraines {win, win}). I am still waiting for an appointment with the neurologist who will do the EEG.
I did have a “no seizure” day yesterday, but did not feel well most of the day so, even though I didn’t pass out, I wasn’t well…then this morning I passed out first thing!! GGRRRR……
