A few years back I went to the Dr. for some neck pain I was having and this weird sensation of something being in my throat when I would swallow. It was quite disconcerting. I would drink a lot of fluids in hopes it would go away and eat bread or crackers thinking I had something caught in there…very weird.
They told me I should start thinking about treatment for arthritis, because the pain I was having was caused from moderate arthritis, probably due to an old injury I had from an accident when I was young. I thought they were nuts, treating me for arthritis when I was so young (early thirties). Then I found out arthritis doesn’t just affect those in their later years.
As far as the throat and something being stuck…they said people sometimes have the sensation something is there even when it’s not and that nothing showed up on the x-rays and that there was nothing to worry about. I still often get this sensation and they can’t tell me why???
Hhhmm…..
Be Blessed…Jo
