Buster and I have been discussing what we would like to do when our house sells, as far as the house we live in now. It is, in fact, about 1/3 the size of the house we are trying to sell. So, more room would be nice. We have talked about adding a master bedroom/bath and a family room. Also, we would like more storage, so that would be incorporated as well.
We have also talked about what we would like to do with the space we already have. We have talked about new carpet for the bedrooms and living area. For a dining area and kitchen, I am a fan of hardwood floors, but they require a lot of upkeep. So, we have talked about something like pergo accolade, or some other kind of laminate flooring. But for the price, hubby thinks hardwood might be better??
We are also thinking we might repaint everything. I think we need a punch of color here and there to liven things up!! Pumpkin_seed wants a teal/aqua color in her room, which I think would be great. I would love maybe some browns and reds or maybe a pop of orange in the living areas and bathrooms to spice things up. Not sure what we are doing yet, but it is going to be nice! =)
