So, here is the deal. Since I almost missed Tempt My Tummy Tuesday today (better late than never, right?!?), I am linking this to Tempt My Tummy Tuesday and Crock Pot Wednesday this time!! I just had this the other day and I haven’t made it myself, yet. I bought all the ingredients to make it later this week. This is a super yummy and super easy recipe!! Sausage, Beans and Potatoes
What you need: (this should feed 6)
- 6 red or white potatoes, peeled and quartered lengthwise
- 2-3 cans cut green beans, depending on how much you like beans
- 1-2 lbs smoked sausage/kielbasa/brats, whatever you prefer will work
- salt and pepper to taste
- water, optional
What to do:
- poor beans into crock, DO NOT DRAIN
- cut your sausage into “big” bite size pieces; place on top of beans in crock
- place potatoes on top of sausage and beans in crock
- if bean juice does not make enough liquid, you may want to add a little water or both to ensure cooked potatoes
- season everything with salt and pepper to taste
- cook 1-2 hours or just until potatoes are tender
