GOD’S PERSONAL PROMISE

ROMANS 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Take God at his word and claim His promise for your salvation. Bow you head right now and sincerely ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and to save your soul. Saying a prayer does not save you!! You must believe what the Bible says and mean it in your heart to be saved!!!

ROMANS 10:9-11 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture sayeth, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed.

Once you are eternally saved, you are always eternally saved…

HEBREWS 13:5B…for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

I know several people who have gone through weight loss surgery.  I don’t think any of them left the country to have it done, but I don’t think it’s a bad idea.  As long as the Dr. is  board certified and good at what they do, it might be just the way to go.  If you go for weight loss surgery Mexico, what nicer place is there to recuperate than beautiful Mexico??  I think I would have to try EVERY other way to lose wight before I would do something like this!!  But that’s just me…

So, I have been thinking.  I know,  know….ANYWAY, we recently visited another camp in the area to see what we could see.  We  are trying to get some ideas on how to make our camp better.  Not that we would ever copy someone else, but we may be able to steal all their ideas incorporate some of what works for them to make our camp better.  Anyway they have this huge “gift shop”, which is is something we will probably never have. BUT, we do have a “snack shack”, where the kidlets can come and buy goodies.  I thought it might be cool for the them to be able to buy little mementos to remind them of their stay with us here at Fort Faith.  Things like  t-shirts and/or custom water bottles with our logo on them.  It might be a good way for the camp to be able to pay the bills little easier too!! Just a thought…

Sometimes you just need a quick simple meal you can throw in the oven and not worry about for an hour or so and have something tasty and hot to eat!!! Thus, Brats and Kraut night!!

Brats and Sour Kraut

What you need:

• Your favorite brats or polish sausage or whatever you like (I use the Johnsonville fresh ones)
• 1 bag or jar of sour kraut (or if you make home-mde, knock yourself out and use that!)

What to do:

• Spray an 8×8 or 9×9 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray
• Place sour kraut in bottom of baking dish
• Lay your brats/sausage on top of kraut
• Bake at 350° for about 40-45 minutes
• After 40-45 minutes, rotate brats/sausage to brown other side; cook additional 15 minutes or until both sides are golden brown
• Serve hot

I have always wanted a pretty light blue house with dark blue  exterior shutters and a blue door.  I came close to that with my fist house…it had a blue door, but it was gray and had no shutters.  Now, I live in a taupe/tan house with a white door and alas, still no shutters!! Maybe someday I will get my dream house, but for now, I am so thankful to be where I am!! God is Good!!

So do all my (2) readers think I’m beating a dead horse here?? (for you PETA people, no horses were actually harmed during the writing/composing of this post) I am still looking for a natural wrinkle treatment, that I can AFFORD!!  This is like DEFCON 5 or 10 (or whatever the highest one is, lol) people!!! I refuse to age gracefully!! I am going to fight it tooth and nail, folks, tooth and nail!!  Plus, I am far too young to be having this many wrinkles/laugh lines, puffy eyes, etc. !! I am only 34 29 , for the love of pie!! HELP!!! I may or may not be being mellow-dramatic here LOL.

So, I have been researching some ways to get rid of the dark circles I sometimes get under my eyes, only to find out experts say there isn’t likely just one cause for dark circles, it can be a number of different things.  From blood build up under the skin to lack of elastin and collagen in the skin.  Thankfully though, there are products out there to help with these problems, but the cost of being dark circle-less can be mighty high!!

Since I have started incorporating day creams, night creams, all kinds of creams into my daily regimen, I find that I do have fewer lines and deep wrinkles, but  I still have puffiness under my eyes and sometimes dark circles.  Is there another way to get rid of these? I know you can cover them up with make-up but I would like to get rid of them rahter than just cover them up.  Any suggestions?? Thanks in advance for any tips or secrets you may share.
