Tempt My Pasta Loving Tummy!!

Quick and Easy that’s my motto!!  This is a recipe that uses a jarred sauce (I know, just take deep breaths, it’ll be over soon!!)  It is very easy and very tasty!

Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken

What you need:

  • 2 cups cooked, cubed chicken
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 small onion
  • 2-4 T. olive oil
  • 1 – 1/2 (15 oz) jars of Alfredo sauce
  • 1 (1 lb) box fettuccine
  • 1 small can mushrooms (optional)

What to do:

  1. In a medium saucepan saute seasoned chicken and onion in olive oil until chicken is browned and onion is tender.
  2. Once the chicken is done, add the Alfredo sauce and stir to blend well.
  3. Add mushrooms if using; heat on medium til warmed through.
  4. Meanwhile, cook fettuccine according to package directions.
  5. Once fettuccine is cooked to al dente; drain and return to pan.
  6. Pour Alfredo sauce mixture over fettuccine in pan and mix; cook til warmed through.
