Losing Weight II…

Posted on November 05, 2009

Going back to the weight loss thing…maybe I need a fat burner.  Although I’m not sure exactly what that is, it might be an idea!! I know I certainly have a lot to burn!! Do they work, though, that is the question.  That and do you have to take them forever or just for a short time.  And once you burn it, does it stay gone??  I wouldn’t want to take these forever!! :)

Losing Weight…

Posted on November 05, 2009

My friend Ericka, she looks amazing!!!!   She’s lost some weight and looks great.   She did it with WW and exercise, but will it last?? Will she keep it off.  I have asked this before, but I will ask it again!!!  What is the best way to lose weight???  Is it better to take the best weight loss pills out there, have surgery, go low carb, go low fat…..what is the best method??

Do you know??

If you could have God’s promise that YOU would go right to HEAVEN when you die, would you take it??

Let me show YOU how YOU can have This Promise!!

ALL HAVE SINNED

ROMANS 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no not one.

ROMANS 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.

GOD’S PRICE ON SIN

ROMANS 6:23 A For the wages of sin is death.

THERE ARE TWO DEATHS

REVELATION 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

OUR WAY OUT

ROMANS 5:8-9 But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

GOD’S PERSONAL PROMISE

ROMANS 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Take God at his word and claim His promise for your salvation. Bow you head right now and sincerely ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and to save your soul. Saying a prayer does not save you!! You must believe what the Bible says and mean it in your heart to be saved!!!

ROMANS 10:9-11 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture sayeth, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed.

Once you are eternally saved, you are always eternally saved…

HEBREWS 13:5B…for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

If you have read this and accepted Christ as your personal Savior, CONGRATULATIONS on getting that taken care of, you’ll be so glad you did!! Please leave your name in a comment so that I can pray for you !!! And also find yourself a good, Bible (King James) preaching Church where you can grow in your faith!!

God Bless!!

If you don’t need this message, but know someone who does, feel free to link them to this or just tell them about the blog post!! It is important that every person get this taken care BEFORE it is too late. We often think we have all the time in the world, what’s the rush?? My son was killed in an auto-accident five years ago today (November 5, 2004)at 10 years old (He asked the Lord to be his Savior when he was 7)!! We have no guarantee of how long we have on this earth, we need to spread the word!!

Thanks for stopping by, see you soon!!

Diamonds are a girls best friend?? :)

Posted on November 04, 2009

You’ve heard the saying, ” diamonds are a girls best friend”, haven’t you?  Well, I don’ t know about all that, but I do know that I like diamonds!!  I love the way they sparkle and I love the way they make me feel.  Important, loved, special, etc.  That may sound shallow, but they do make me feel those things.  What do diamonds do for/mean to you, if anything???

Vacation????

Posted on November 04, 2009

I hope we sell our house soon.  Buster says that when we sell it, we might take a vacation.  He’s talking about one of those orlando vacations.  We have some friends who live in Florida, minutes from Disney, actually.  So we might be taking a Disney trip in the near future…hopefully while it’s still cold here!!! That would be fun!! Pumpkin_seed and I have never flown, so it should be interesting ( maybe we will drive)    :)

MULLED CRANBERRY CIDER

What you need

  • 1 small orange
  • 8 cups cranberry-raspberry drink
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 6 inches stick cinnamon, broken
  • 3 star anise
  • 1 t. whole cloves
  • orange peel strips (optional)

What to do

  • Remove the orange portion of the orange peel using a vegetable peeler.  Cut peel into strips.  Squeeze juice from orange; discard seeds and pulp.  In a 3 1/2 – 5 quart slow cooker combine orange juice, cranberry-raspberry drink and brown sugar.
  • For spice bag, place orange peel, cinnamon, star anise and whole cloves on a double thick, 8 inch square of 100-percent-cotton cheesecloth.  Bring corners of cheesecloth together and tie with clean kitchen string.  Add to slow cooker.
  • Cover; cook on low-heat setting for 5-6 hours or on high -heat setting for 2 1/2-3 hours.  To serve, remove spice bag and discard.  Ladle cider into cups.  If desired, garnish with additional orange peel.

Apply or Not??

Posted on November 03, 2009

Well, I have a decision to make.  I am thinking about applying for social security disability.  I have been told that I should apply because I have never held a “real” job for more than six months. My Bipolar and Borderline Personality Disorder make it nearly impossible for me to maintain a job.  I applied a long time ago, but my husband made too much money, but now that he is without a paying job, I may be accepted…..should I apply or not???

Family Projects…

Posted on November 02, 2009

Every year pumpkin_seed has to do a Science Fair project and we go out and buy a cardboard display of some sort.  One year she and her dad made one with a little “house” with furniture and lights and the whole nine yards and the science part was how the light switch worked.  It was very cool.  She loves spending time with her dad working on ANYTHING!!!  I hope her new school does the same thing!!

Home Sweet Home…

Posted on November 02, 2009

Before Buster and I decided to move out to camp and be in full-time Christian service, we were trying to sell our home and move out to the country.  We wanted to have less taxes and more property.  After doing some research, we thought about buying a piece of property and putting a new manufactured home on it.  They are built very well these days and can be a fraction of the cost of a traditional home.  But, alas, God had other plans, and I’m so glad we are here at camp where we belong!!
