Debbie, over at Dining with Debbie wanted me to join her for Crock Pot Wednesday over on her blog. Loving this recipe!! I love cream cheese so anytime I can use it, I am happy!!!
Cream Cheese Crock Pot Chicken
What you need
- 4 lbs (give or take a little) chicken breast
- 2 T. melted butter + 2T. for cooking onion
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 package dry italian dressing mix
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (can use cream of chicken)
- 1 (8oz) block cream cheese, cut up into cubes
- 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 1 large onion
- crushed garlic to taste
What to do
- Brush chicken with butter and sprinkle with the dry italian seasoning.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours
- About 45 minutes before done, brown onion in butter; wehn onion is translucent, add cream cheese, soup and chicken broth to pan. Add crushed garlic and stir all ingr
- Serve over hot rice

This sounds delicious! I am adding it to my “recipes to try” and will probably fix it next week–I will let you know how it goes! I, too, LOVE cream cheese…but really, who doesn’t??
