I have been reading a lot lately about parents having to deal with the death of a child. My heart physically hurts for them as I read their stories. Today I want to pay tribute to those who are suffering the loss of a child. Those who have not gone through the loss of someone so close to them may not understand what goes on in someones life when they have a loss like this, and I HOPE they never HAVE to!!! I have to say a little about me to make this point, forgive me Jay
I lost my son when he was 10. Through the senseless act of another. A 65 year old man ran a stop sign and hit us as we were travelling down the road. This tragedy replays itself in my mind almost daily. I WILL NEVER forget!! I WILL NEVER get over it. I WILL NEVER stop hurting. But with God’s grace, I WILL LIVE my life!!
Most people suffer the loss of a Grandparent or Parent, often Aunts and Uncles. Death is a natural part of LIFE and we all have to have some part in it. But losing a child is different. No One expects it. These things never happen to “us”. Our children are supposed to outlive us. We aren’t supposed to bury our children, it’s the other way around. “Old” people are supposed to die after living a long, happy, full life.
Sometimes for reasons unknown to us, maybe, God has another plan. This tribute is to all those like me, who have lost a child and had to make way for God’s plan and readjust there lives to it. May God bless you in every area of your life. May He hold you in His comforting arms. My He surround you with love and support. May He get the glory in all things.

I cannot fathom the pain. God bless you!

I can’t imagine losing a child. I am so sorry. It is so frustrating that people don’t understand how much hurt they can do by not paying attention.
God Bless You!!
