Some friends of ours from Church are on vacation right now. They went up North (MI) to some lodge. They have an indoor water park and stuff, I guess. Buster and I have never taken a “real vacation”. We have been married 15+ years and never had a “real” vacation.
The closest we have come was when we went to the UP for like three days a couple years ago. It was in March or April, I can’t remember which. We went and stayed in a little cabin at a campground. And it was free, but we were there to help clean up the campground and get it ready for a new season. Not my idea of a vacation, although we did have fun.
Some day I’d like to take a “real vacation” like one of those European cruises, or something like that. I like the idea of a cruise because it’s out on the sea, you don’t have a choice but to relax and get away from it all…..you are IN FACT, away from it all!!
Zenders is great! It’s pretty affordable in off season. I would love to travel overseas someday too! We’ve been married almost 14 years now and dated for 5. Isn’t it weird to be young, but married for so long?!
