I love this picture. Buster is down on the floor playing with the dogs. Buddy is the Black Lab and Jasmine (Jazzy) is the Boxer!!! It’s funny, Buddy is so dark, you can’t see much but eyes!! 
Those dogs are like family to us. I love them!!

GOD’S PERSONAL PROMISE

Take God at his word and claim His promise for your salvation. Bow you head right now and sincerely ask esus Christ to forgive your sins and to save your soul. Saying a prayer does not save you!! You must believe what the Bible says and mean it in your heart to be saved!!!
ROMANS 10:9-11 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture sayeth, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed.
Once you are eternally saved, you are always eternally saved…
HEBREWS 13:5B…for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Isn’t that a ton of stuff?? (there was more chocolate, but it mysteriously disappeared before I took the photo????) just in case anyone out there cares, which i doubt, i have not fallen off the planet!! almost, but not quite!! i have been so tired and agitated lately, i haven’t been doing anything. by anything i mean ANYTHING!! i have laundry and dishes and dusting and vacuuming that need to be done. anyone brave enough to come do it for me?? i promise i’ll clear a path.
i just have not been well at all. i have this heaviness in my chest, i want to cry at the drop of a hat every second. and i can’t breath. buster has ordered my progesterone cream that i have been out of for like a month and i have been sitting under a full-spectrum light for hours on end. if the cream doesn’t miraculously cure me help, i’m gonna go see the dr. about my bipolar disorder. this has gone on too long!!
so for now, i wait for the miracle cream to come. shouldn’t be long now. then a few days and i’ll know if it’s hormones (for anyone who doesn’t know, i had a radical hysterectomy 9-11-08) or if i need to go in for therapy and/or drugs.

I need help people!! Actually, these are for Buster and Pumpkin_seed, now if I can just stay out of them, I’ll be good!!
As I get older I contemplate how far I would go to look younger. To be thinner. To feel better about myself. As I have gotten older I have struggled more and more with my weight. When I was in school and was very active, I never had a weight problem. Then when I was put in treatment (for Bipolar, BPD, and OCD) as a Senior in High School, I was very sedentary. I gained 30 pounds in like 8 weeks!! It was awful!! I have never been able to drop that weight.
I feel like a failure sometimes because I think if I *really* dedicated myself to losing the weight, I think I could, but I can’t seem to get motivated. I was actually down quite a bit a couple years ago, but I really need to get back down there again. I just need to get motivated. And just losing weight doesn’t seem to be enough motivation. I know that the longer I am “obese” the worse it is for my health.
So, this is going to be my year!! I am going to lose weight this year!! am determined to do it. In a healthy, long term kind of way, too!! My goal is to lose 40 pounds this year. I would love it if I could get some of you to pray for me in that endeavor and to keep me on track by way of e-mails or comments to keep me plugging along. I would really appreciate that!! Here’s to a new me come 2010!!

This is just a candid picture of Buster (my husband) I took in the truck on our way somewhere?!? I am married to the most awesome guy on the planet. Though sometimes I want to throttle him, I don’t know what I would ever do without him. He has been through so much with me and he still loves me! Go figure.
I am married to the greatest, smartest, strongest, most caring, most generous man I have ever known. I am so blessed to be his wife!! We have been together for almost 20 years and married for 15. I can’t imagine my life without him.Through thick and thin , he has stuck by my side and I could never repay him for all he’s done for me. But he is not worried about any of that. He is just happy that I am his and he is mine. I don’t think I’ll ever understand why he is still here.

This weeks Tuesday’s Tribute AND Talk About Tuesday go out to my darling 12 year old daughter. I am going to post her picture and then a letter I wrote to her on her 12th birthday.
Pumpkin_seed lost her brother in a car-accident in 2004 ( he was sitting right next to her in the car), but she doesn’t let that stop her from living her life and moving on. She is a fighter and she is strong!! Pumpkin_seed still misses her “big” brother but refuses to “die” with him. I don’t mean that in a crude way, I just mean she lives her life to the fullest everyday and remembers the good times she had with him. She is excited to know that one day, she will see him again in heaven and looks forward to it. She is an amazing young lady, that pumpkin_seed!!! I love her with all my heart and I don’t know what I would do without her!!
To my darling 12 year old. I fell in love with you when I was three months pregnant with you. I hadn’t even laid eyes on you yet. Didn’t even know for sure if you were a girl or a boy. But I had a feeling you were a girl. MY girl. I thought of all the things we would do together. How I would braid your hair and teach you how to sit, talk, and act like a lady. I thought about dressing you up in ribbons and ruffles, all in pink, how we would have tea parties with your dolls and stuffed animals. How someday you would go to school and how proud I would be, and I was and still am.
I thought about how you would eventually like boys and what I would tell you when you did. Well, things have changed a lot since then and you do like boys!! Well, just one that I know of. I know you smile whenever you say his name and I know are excited to think that he might like you, too. You have the rest of your life to enjoy these things, please don’t be in a hurry to grow up. You only get to be a child once and only for a short time. I know it seems like it takes for ever to be a grown up and there are rules and chores and school and it seems like a lot, but you wait, one day you will wish for the days when you were a kid!! Just remember, my sweet girl, if he’s right for you it will happen in God’s time.
Remember that you can always talk to me about anything no matter what!! I will always be your biggest fan and nothing you could say or do will ever change that. Please remember that Daddy and I make rules to keep you safe from harm and to keep you happy in the long run.
Remember your purity (mind, body and soul) should be held close and dear to you. Besides your salvation it is your most treasured “possession” at this point in your life. Keep It!! Now , go out there with God’s grace and show the world what you’re made of!! I love you today, tomorrow, and always!!! Happy Birthday sweety, Hugs and Prayers… Love Mommy…
I will be joining Laura and her friends for Menu Monday from now on!!! This is going to be fun!!! Sometimes we get busy and I end up making, something else, so if you see something on here from last week, chances are I didn’t make it when I thought I would. OR I did, and my family wants it again!!

Monday~Baked Spaghetti (spaghetti covered with cheese and baked) and garlic bread
Tuesday~Mac and Cheese with hot dogs and peas (just add your favorite hot dogs to boxed mac and cheese; add frozen peas to macaroni when boiling)
Wednesday~Pizza (Church night, quick and easy)
Thursday~ Homemade chicken tenders and fries
Friday~Tuna Noodle Casserole the way my MIL makes it, cause that’s how my hubby likes it
