Witness Wednesday…

 - by Jo

Witness Wednesday is how I am going to reach out and make my faith known.  Would you like to know where you will spend eternity??  Read on….

If you could have God’s promise that YOU would go right to HEAVEN when you die, would you take it??

Let me show YOU how YOU can have This Promise!!

ALL HAVE SINNED

ROMANS 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no not one.

ROMANS 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.

GOD’S PRICE ON SIN

ROMANS 6:23 A For the wages of sin is death.

THERE ARE TWO DEATHS

REVELATION 21:8  But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

OUR WAY OUT

ROMANS 5:8-9 But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

GOD’S PERSONAL PROMISE

ROMANS 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Take God at his word and claim His promise for your salvation.  Bow you head right now and sincerely ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and to save your soul.  Saying a prayer does not save you!!  You must believe what the Bible says and mean it in your heart to be saved!!!

ROMANS 10:9-11  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  For the scripture sayeth, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed.

Once you are eternally saved, you are always eternally saved…

HEBREWS 13:5B…for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

If you have read this and accepted Christ as your personal Saviour, CONGRATULATIONS on getting that taken care of, you’ll be so glad you did!!   Please leave your name in a comment so that I can pray for you !!! And also find yourself a good, Bible (King James) preaching Church where you can grow in your faith!!

God Bless!!

If you don’t need this message, but know someone who does, feel free to link them to this or just tell them about the blog post!!  It is important that every person get this taken care BEFORE it is too late.  We often think we have all the time in the world, what’s the rush??  My son was killed in an auto-accident at 10 (He asked the Lord to be his  Saviour when he was 7)!!  We have no guarantee of how long we have on this earth, we need to spread the word!!

Wordful Wednesday….

today has been rough! i have been crying on and off all day for no apparent reason and i am having problems with anxiety.  even though me working hasn’t worked out in the past,  because we have been struggling financially, i thought i might look into getting at least a part time job.  i was also thinking it might do me some good to get out for a few hours a  day or every other day.   i went to a job interview yesterday morning hopeful that i would have a job helping those with allergies and breathing problems, because when i called they were very tight lipped and didn’t want to tell  me much, but did tell me  they helped people with allergies, asthma and other breathing problems.

so i am thinking some sort of respiration therapy or something.  not even close, it was all a scam to get me in there and then drop the “R” Bomb on me!!!

they want me to sell RAINBOW VACUUMS  people.  i was a little ticked when i found out.  look at the ad above, does anything you see give you the assumption that you will be selling VACUUM CLEANERS????  NO!!! this ad is very misleading and deceiving!!!  from now on, if they can’t even be up-front and honest on the phone when i call on an ad, i don’t need to apply for that job!!  so, i continue to be self-employed and broke!!  poor me :( lol

i had a friend tell me it was kind of funny in a way….i don’t see the humor!!

Making A Happy Home!!

I came across this “carnival” when I was visiting links on other blogs.

I have been wanting to get some things done around the house and what better motivation that being able to share my projects with all of you!!!

This week I am featuring one of my kitchen cupboards.  Pumpkin_seed used to take care of the dishes and it was always a crap-shoot as to whether or not you could actually open the door when she was done, usually out of fear that everything was going to come crashing out upon you.  So, now that we switched her chores, I take care of them.  I think I like this better!!

in a pickle…

 - by Jo

OK, this is the problem.  Buster and I have been having $$ problems lately.  Can’t seem to make our dollar stretch enough.  He has applied to several different places and so have I.  One problem with that is I don’t do well in a “work” environment.  I have never held a job outside my home for more than six months.

I simply can’t handle it.  I end up getting worn down and sick and it’s just not good.  I went to school in 1996 to be a Medical Assistant.  Graduated with honors and then found out I was pregnant with my daughter.  I went through such a depression after she was born, I never took my registration tests and therefore never used my education.  We had to get my school loans written off by the state because I could not work.

So I thought if we had our own business, I could work from home or at least in our own space.  Well,  then you have to worry about things like licenses and business insurance and all that jazz.  Not necessarily an easy task. Owning a business is hard work, but CAN be worth it.

So right now we are kind of in limbo, trying to figure out what we want to do…

moving soon??

 - by Jo

Well, Buster only has a couple more things to do before we can put the house up for sale.  I think we are going to try to sell it ourselves first.  Then if that seems to take too long, we will get a realtor.  We already know one we like a lot, so it won’t be a problem if we decide to go that route!

We have already started packing some stuff away that we don’t use everyday.  We are thinking about getting moving pods to make the move easier.  That way if we sell the house before we find one we can afford, and need to rent something for a little while or stay with someone, we can just leave everything packed where it is instead of moving everything again!

I’m so excited, I can’t wait to move out of town.  I will miss this house, though, I really have been happy with it overall. We want to move out into the country so we have more room with the dogs and the quads.   Plus we’ll just have more privacy . AND the taxes should be more reasonable!!
