Update!!!
Posted on December 20, 2008Buster is doing much better today!! He has eaten three meals today and even some ice cream and hasn’t thrown up at all. He hasn’t even needed his medication for the nausea!! His incision is a little tender but he has had a shower and removed his original dressing and everything looks great!! I’m so thankful to all of you for your prayers and also to God for taking care of my baby!! Buster is so important to me and he takes such good care of me all the time. It was odd having to do the “taking care of”. But I love taking care of my man

Six Hours Later…
Posted on December 18, 2008After six hours at the hospital, they finally let me take Buster home. He continues to be light headed and nauseous. He has thrown up several times, but not much as he hasn’t really eaten anything in over 24 hours now. He’s had a sprite, half cup of chicken noodle soup and two saltines since Wednesday night at 9 pm. He is very tired and has been up a couple times since he got home, but has spent most of his time in bed so far. Hopefully a good nights sleep and he’ll be feeling better.
So after all that, I came home and Pumpkin_seed, her friend K and I made Christmas cookies. She will be taking them to school tomorrow, assuming they have school tomorrow. We have a Winter Storm Warning effective through tomorrow evening at 7pm. We are supposed to get 6-12 inches of snow overnight?!? We’ll just see about that, now won’t we. Tomorrow is her last day til 2009!!
Anywho, here are the fruits of our labor…

Busters Surgery…
Posted on December 18, 2008my darling buster is going in to have a hernia repaired in the morning at 9AM (we have to be there by 7:30). please keep him and the doctors in your prayers. this is a very routine procedure and they are not expecting any problems, but this is surgery and there are always risks, however minute they may be. thanks everyone in advance!! i will be on tomorrow, but until the afternoon. missing you all til then

AND the greatest part is, EVERYONE.CAN.RECEIVE.IT. That’s right everyone!!! Everyone of us can know 100% for sure that when we die, we will go to heaven!! I will be joining Laura and her friends for Menu Monday from now on!!! This is going to be fun!!! Sometimes we get busy and I end up making, something else, so if you see something on here from last week, chances are I didn’t make it when I thought I would. OR I did, and my family wants it again!!
Not sure what we are doing this week. Hubby is having surgery for a hernia at some point this week ( he sees the surgeon tomorrow!!), so I don’t really know what we are doing when. With that in mind, we are having left-overs from this weekend and quick simple meals. I do have a recipe blog you can go to for some yummy recipes, if you want!! Go check it out!!
