The Cross You Bear

Posted on October 04, 2008

We complain about the cross we bear but don’t realize it is preparing us for the dip in the road that God can see and we can’t.Whatever your cross, whatever your pain, there will always be sunshine, after the rain….Perhaps you may stumble, perhaps even fall; But God’s always ready, to answer your call….

He knows every heartache, sees every tear, a word from His lips, can calm every fear…

Your sorrows may linger, throughout the night, But suddenly vanish, dawn’s early light…

The Savior is waiting, somewhere above, to give you His grace, and send you His love…

God promises a safe landing, not a calm passage!

My dog is worried about the economy because Alpo is up to $3.00 a can. That’s almost $21.00 in dog money.

left this comment here …..absolutely!!! that is one thing i have learned since my son went to heaven. don’t sweat the small stuff. the laundry can wait, the dishes can wait, the dusting can wait. you only have ‘this’ day with your child once!! enjoy it while you can. we have no guarantee of how many we will have with our loved ones!! i have learned that if their bedtime is 8:00 pm and they are still up at 8:10 pm, the world will not come to a crashing halt. the sun WILL rise the next day, i promise. (unless Jesus comes back) btw…your new precious gift is adorable, as are all your children!! i love the way they wrinkle their forheads like that one photo!! too cute!!

This has to be one of the best singles ads ever printed. It is reported to have been listed in the Atlanta Journal.

SINGLE BLACK FEMALE seeks male companionship, ethnicity unimportant. I’m a very good girl who LOVES to play. I love long walks in the woods, riding in your pickup truck, hunting, camping and fishing trips, cozy winter nights lying by the fire. Candlelight dinners will have me eating out of your hand. I’ll be at the front door when you get home from work, wearing only what nature gave me. Call (404) 875-6420 and ask for Daisy, I’ll be waiting….
